My router is about 25 feet away from the tp-link and there is one wall in between as well. And this thing works flawlessly!!! been using it for a month now with zero problems Cons: kind of a pain to set up for client, but not too bad. the ethernet cable that came with this unit was bad and needed to be replaced right out of the box. no biggie
Using this TP-Link N300 Wireless Portable Nano Travel Router just last week during a 7 hour power outage powered by a USB power bank I had my internet up and running during the entire power outage.
